Health Tip of the Month: You might have heard about the “mystery respiratory illness in dogs” that is making its rounds in the US. I did some research, and you can read about my findings and how your can protect your pup here.

Topic of the Month: This month my focus was on dental care for Ollie. Many dog owners underestimate the significance of oral hygiene in maintaining their pets' overall health. By the age of three, a majority of dogs exhibit signs of canine periodontal disease (primary sign: bad breath). However, untreated dental issues can lead to severe consequences, including tooth loss, painful abscesses, and systemic infections. Neglecting oral hygiene increases the risk of permanent jaw damage and heart disease in dogs. To safeguard your canine companion's well-being, it is crucial to implement effective dental care practices. You can find tips to ensure your dog's teeth stay clean and healthy here.
